::: OUR STORY :::
Founded by folk artists, Adam and Rachael Zerbe, their process began with purchasing a twenty acre property and home in the Little Shasta Valley located on the north side of Mt. Shasta in 2018. This is where the wide valley floor sits at 2,400 feet speckled by volcanic eruption remnants, grasslands, juniper forests, and an open sky. With consistent views of inspiration on display, the intention was felt to invite fellow artists into this rural landscape. Over the years travelers, artists, and friends have come through to visit the space, giving a deeper purpose to Adam and Rachael for what it means to live, create, and host here in the valley. With this experience, they arrived at forming the Memory Seed Foundation to support the vision of a year round artist residency program.
